David Bereit spoke recently at the Capital Area Pro-Life Coalition meeting in Virginia. Pro-Life people from around the area showed up for this talk and for the planning meeting of the first 40 Days for Life project in this area.
This prayerful effort seeks to surround abortion mills around the country with prayer for 40 days. A great number of cities have already signed up and there has been much media attention.

Paul Schenck, Director of the National Pro-Life Action Center in WAshington D.C. spoke recently during the 2007 Maryland Face the Truth Tour.
He first became involved in the Pro-Life movement after two of his parishoners placed a bag with dead fetuses on his desk to show them what they had found in a dumpster behind a local abortion mill. Schenck described the scene like this:
We opened the bags. And in the bags, were little babies. They fit into the palm of your hand, little baby faces, hands and feet, depressions where their fingernails and toenails would grow. One little girl had a dimple in her cheek...but her head was severed in half, a little boy’s spine was sticking out of his back, their arms and legs torn away from them, and I stood there looking at this pile of human carnage, and all I could hear myself say was, “Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God”.

Join us today for the The Monthly Call for Life at MonthlyCallForLife.com. Today is the first Saturday after the first Friday. Go to an abortion mill in your area and pray, stand with a sign, or whatever you want to peacefully do for a couple of hours. Click here if you want to print out flyers, Life Cards or the sign that we use.
No matter what, go to the abortion mill, even if all you do is stand there. Women drive by & see if there is a Pro-Life person standing there. If there is, some continue driving & don’t come back.
