Friends of the unborn, it’s the first Friday of the month and it’s time for us to call and/or Email our representatives to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Think of it, a million unborn children stand a chance of living this year if we speak for them.

Julia Giacopuzzi, age 15, was rushed by a police officer, had her arms twisted behind her back, lifted up off the ground and then cuffed.

Our video is with Pat Mahoney, President of the Christian Defense Coalition and was filmed outside the Pepsi Center the day before the arrests.  He describes his arrest in China, standing up for the unborn in that communist country which kills 10 million people every year through pre-natal murder / abortion.

Yesterday, Pat and a couple Pro-Life activists were sidewalk chalking Pro-Life messages outside Obama’s hotel.  They were greeted with what appeared to be anti-terrorist police tactics.  I guess the officers were afraid the chalk dust would get in their eyes.

Jayne White, age 17, was rushed from behind, physically forced to the ground, had a police officer dig his knee into the back of her neck, pulled her arms and cuffed her behind her back.

Matt Lockett, Director of Bound4Life, lead over one hundred people to a day of prayer in front of the Supreme Court in Washington D.C. today, April the 26th.  The event was called The Mercy Seat, a call for mercy from God’s wrath because of America’s sin of abortion.  Around the country thousands of people showed up at all Supreme Courts to also pray for an end to abortion.

When asked about the event, Lockett stated:

Lockett:  What we’re doing today is called the Mercy Seat.  We can pray here in front of this court all day today (The U.S. Supreme Court) but we’re praying in front of all 51 Supreme Courts around the nation, at the same time, on the same day.  And it’s been one chorus of prayer, one mercy cry today, and we’re just applying the blood of Christ and crying out for forgiveness and for mercy.

ProLifeNews.tv:  You were talking earlier about how this is taking another path in the schools.  Why don’t you tell the folks about that, and maybe how the kids in school can get involved as well.

Lockett:  This is something we’re really excited about.  We do believe it’s a rallying point for every man, woman and child.  So last year we began to envision the life message, how can the life message go into the schools.  How do you even engage children or teenageers with something like this.  What came out of it is a thing we call Think Fast, and what we’ve done is we’re calling Jr. High and High School students to fast lunch on Fridays, and use that half-hour to get together with your friends out on the foyer, out on the lawn, wherever you want to go.  Out of the cafeteria perferably, and fast lunch, get with your friends and pray for an ending of abortion.  The response has been overwhelming, in only 2 semesters, over 650 schools have signed up for this.

Bound4Life has been in existence for over three years and has spread around the country, reaching hundreds of schools and thousands of people.

The prayer that is prayed at the Bound4Life events is “Jesus, I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation.  God, end abortion and send revival to America”.
