ATLANTA, Nov. 23 /Christian Newswire/—Pro-Life Unity is sponsoring a rally at the Georgia Capitol in Atlanta on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 in support of Georgia’s Human Life Amendment.
January 14, 2008 marks the opening session of Georgia’s legislative season. Pro-Life Unity is committed to insure that Georgia’s Human Life Amendment receives the highest priority on the legislative calendar.
It is time to stop trying to please those who oppose life. We try to blend in or not make waves to appeal to the masses in so many different ways. To name a few:
> We try to not be too “Christian”
> We try to not be so “conservative”
> We try to appeal to Democrats
> We are constantly arguing with people who disagree with us
> We try to skirt around the health of the mother, life of the mother issue
We don’t have to defend our position. People who are for abortion or do nothing to help end it are turning their backs on the killing of human beings. We don’t choose to do that. It’s that simple!
Eric Scheidler from the Pro-Life Action League led a Jericho March around the abortion facility in Aurora, Illinois. Hundreds of people showed up and marched around the building. He said:
“The armies of Israel were instructed by almighty God, to his prophet Joshua, to march around the inpregnable fortress of Jericho, we are praying that almighty God will work a miracle for the people of Aurora, the way he did for the people of Israel, and deliver into our hands, this building, that is set to become a building of death.”
Dr. Johnny Hunter
“I don’t know if the media is going to show any black faces on TV tonight, but at least you (the local people) are here, and you see that we are here, and you know that we are here.”
Priest
“The Pro-Life movement is the most peaceful, civil rights movement in the history of our nation, and I ask the press to report the real story”
