New Stanek WND column, “Obama on abortion in healthcare: Unclear now, quite clear then”

The White House unveiled its new Reality Check webpage Monday morning, attempting to realign facts in its favor about the proposed nationalized health care plan.

I noted on my blog that noticeably missing was any mention of the A-word, even though the topic has taken center stage in the national debate....

But there was a time when Obama was quite clear about his intention to include abortion in taxpayer financed health care as well as force private insurance coverage.

On July 17, 2007, Obama was speaking to Planned Parenthood supporters, and Bryan Howard, CEO of Planned Parenthood AZ, asked a question on health care (abortionspeak translation: “reproductive healthcare” means “abortion"):

Could you talk - give us some specifics about how reproductive health care ... is going to fit into and be a part of primary care for women in your health care reform plans and how Planned Parenthood ... will continue to be a part of the health care safety net for women and families across the country?

Obama responded quite clearly he planned for abortion not only to be part of taxpayer-funded health care but also forcibly covered by private insurers. He added he thought it “important” for the United States’ largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, to be part of his plan. Here’s the entire clip, courtesy of Americans United for Life:

Flash forward 2 years and Obama isn’t quite so clear....

Video “Barack Obama took a position left of NARAL” - Jill Stanek

We caught up with Jill Stanek at the Family Research Council Value Voters Summit this weekend.  Jill was filling us in on how events in her life back in 1999 are helping shape the elections today.  Jill said:

“I’m a registered nurse who found out that at my hospital, Christ Hospital, in Oaklawn, Illinois, was involved with an abortion practice called an induced labor abortion that resulted in babies being aborted alive, and if they were aborted alive, they were allowed to die without any medical intervention whatsoever.  This was back in ‘99.”

New Stanek WND column, “Divine secrets of the political yo-yo sisterhood”

WND%20logo.gif

It’s interesting to watch pro-aborts fight. They confine themselves to a war of words when picking on someone their own size. No dismembering, no decapitating, how refreshing.

Right now they’re engaged in a rarely seen public snarl over which Democrat presidential candidate to support. This will likely stop after they pick a nominee, so the pack can resume attacking the Republican.

Meanwhile, the rift is revealing....

The grumpy old feminists, who for half a century have been decrying sexism, are herding around Hillary because she’s a woman, the epitome of chauvinism.

There are reports lesbians are also flocking to Hillary, but I’ve thought for some time grumpy old feminists and lesbians were one and the same. The president and vice president of NOW in my state are live-in lesbian lovers, for instance. So that may not be news.

On Obama’s side we have....
