Pray for the unborn!

Rosary at Planned Parenthood, Spring St., Silver Spring, Sat. Apr. 29, 2006.

A total of 4 pro-lifers came to pray the rosary at the Planned Parenthood abortuary. There were 4 counselors.  About 18 women entered the building
for the abortuary.  Thanks to all who attended.  If you were not there, those babies, victims of abortion, would have no one there that loves them
and cares about them, at the hour of their cruel death.

For those who have attended in the past please keep coming and encourage others to come to take this opportunity to stand up for life.  We need all
the prayers we can get to continue to combat this evil of abortion at Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the country, and at other abortion providers. 

Your prayers are not only needed for God’s children, whose lives are casually snuffed out by abortion, but also for the women who are killed or maimed for life as a result of an abortion.

Our prayers are also needed for the sidewalk counselors who often are victims of intimidation by those entering the abortuary seeking an abortion, by others that work in the same building as PP, by passers-by, and, by the deathscorts of which there were 6 on Saturday.  There was also the presence
of one hired guard.

* 3 Saves at 16th Street!  On Wednesday, April 26, there were 3 saves as follows:

1) In one case a woman came in with her abortion minded daughter.  The daughter took a flyer from me as I began counseling on the fly.  The mother
said she wasn’t pregnant but I suggested what about daughter and began to address my counseling on the fly to her daughter who was ahead of her.  The
last thing I said to the daughter as the mill door closed behind her was “Let your baby live for your own sake” an expression I usually use on similar occasions.  About 15 seconds later they both came out. The mother said to me “You won one!” She told me her daughter changed her mind on the spot.  She took a pair of booties for her daughter as her daughter raced ahead of her. 

2) In a second case an abortion minded woman came in with what appeared to be her mother and father.  I gave counseling on the fly and the father
took a flyer. Through the lobby door I saw him put the flyer in his pocket. About 20 minutes later he came out and talked with the deathscorts.  I asked
if I could talk with him and he said “not now.” About a half hour later they all came out.  The mother said “we’re not going to do it.” It looked like she might have been talking to me so I asked if she was talking to me. She said “yes!” Then she and told me her daughter changed her mind at the last minute about having an abortion and walked out.

3) In at third case an abortion minded couple came in but I didn’t remember seeing them.  The boy friend came out at some point and headed somewhere down the street.  I talked to him although he wasn’t too cooperative.  He was very adamant that his girl friend has the right to make her own decision to abort if she wants to.  She is the one who makes the decision.  He kept insisting it’s her decision.  I got no where with him . He was away for quite a while.  About a half hour later, who turned out to be his girl friend, came out and started talking on the phone.  Not knowing who she was I tried unsuccessfully to talk with her and give her a flyer. She just ignored me.  Then her boy friend came back, apparently she was calling him, and they started talking.  Then they suddenly just left together and never came back.  They didn’t talk with me so at least we know the baby was spared at least for a few more days to a weak.  Let us pray that decide to let their baby live.

Hillcrest Weekday Report - week of April 24th, 2006. 

There was sidewalk counseling during the week of April 24th.  On Wednesday, April 26th, at Planned Parenthood on 16th Street, 16 women entered the
abortion mill.  There were 10 deathscorts.  There were 3 saves as reported above.

The start time for the Rosary will continue to be 9:45 am, every Saturday, in front of the PP abortuary at 1400 Spring St., Silver Spring.  Parking in the general area of the abortuary is on-street as well as a nearby public parking facility.  Spring Street intersects Georgia Ave. 2 blocks north of Colesville Road.  The PP site is west of Georgia Ave on the second block on the south side.  There is street parking and the public parking facility is one block south of the PP site.  Make the first left turn going west on Spring Street from Georgia Ave.  For more information Contact
